Two visual directions for the same product idea. Ink is the primary sample: paper-bright, restrained and readable. Midnight offers a colder, near-black alternative.
Matched concept comparison: Both films intentionally use the same synthetic distance, time and pace so the styles can be compared directly. They show different synthetic seasons, subjects and journals; neither is a customer result or testimonial. Local OpenStreetMap street geometry is real.
Bright, editorial, printed-page calm. This matched-stat concept uses a synthetic warm-weather subject and journal to demonstrate Ink.
Film description: A sunlit demonstration runner appears over a pale New York map. The synthetic journal moves from an over-fast start through fading pace to an honest reflection after the finish.
Concept sample — not a customer result. A paid pilot would use the runner's own compatible GPX, TCX or FIT file, one authorized photo and runner-approved words.
I check the route, the photo crop, every selected line and the finish before a runner receives the private film. A real captioned process clip will be added only after it has been recorded and approved.
“I’m Hamzah, the maker behind WhereYouRan. I built it because a watch can record the route and still miss what the day meant.”
This is a small, founder-run pilot. I prepare and check every accepted film personally before delivery. I am present as the maker and listener; the runner, their words and their finish remain at the centre.

No. The pilot is private by default. WhereYouRan does not publish a route, photo or finished film without the runner's written permission.
